Bound by knowledge.

Calliope is probably the most well known of the Nine Olympian muses. She's known as Homer's muse, and in classical art is often depicted holding Homer's books. She si the muse of knowledge, writing and epic poetry.

I enjoyed painting this. The colours were tricky, and I'm sure there are mistakes, but I'm satisfied with the result.

Another muse, maybe Thalia should come and cheer her up.

Great job! I defiantly love all the purple. For critique: I am having a hard time telling what the brown branch like things are. At first glance I mistook them for spider legs. However I am assuming it's a tree behind her, though it'd be nice to have given more evidence as to what the structure is.

All in all though: AWESOME (^.^)

I still enjoy this original, and now that you mention it IDK if leaves or apples will be that easy to work into the peace. Seeing the color scheme and all.
