The End of Heartache

This painting is part of a school project I have due next tuesday. We had to make a CD insert for a song and design it around the lyrics of that song, and I chose to base mine around The End of Heartache by Killswitch Engage.

So my overal theme is Lock and Key, as well as a kind of a puppet/marionette thing. In order to stop her heartache she needs to find the key, and she is tearing herself apart trying to find it. Little does she know that key is right in front of her, she just doesn't realise it yet. Whe she does her healing can begin.

I dunno how long this painting took. The prep work actually took longer than the painting itself.
