Here's Urania, one of the Nine Olympian Muses. She is the Muse of astronomy.

Urania has often been depicted wearing a robe covered in stars and holding a globe, so I wanted to incorporate that into this.

This turned out a bit...all over the place colour wise, and I'm not sure whether I like it or not, but for now I am satisfied.

I don't know how to critique art, but I like it!

Love it! This does seem perhaps a little more complex of a piece than you usually do, in some ways, but you managed it very well! It looks great!

Once again, I love how velvet-ish the bow looks! Also, her left hand honestly is structured very well, too! Hopefully that....doesn't sound too odd. 8P

Also, what made you want to make the globe a more gold color, out of curiosity? I think it works good in the piece, but just wondered! :3 Speaking of, I find it clever she's holding the moon in her other hand!

woops forgot to also mention, ancient greek astronomical models were usually made of brass or other metal.

Thanks a lot :)

The globe is a bit of a fiasco haha. It started off loosely based on this [link] Since in ancient greece they believed the earth to be flat, I was going to do a flat version but then changed my mind. It's a good thing I simplified it to be honest, it's busy enough as it is. But I might do that in future in another painting.
